You may withdraw consent where the law permits. Withdrawal may limit or prevent use of the platform. We may continue to process information where required or permitted by law.

We may collect, preserve, use, or disclose personal information where we reasonably believe that doing so is necessary or permitted for any of the following purposes:

  • to comply with law;

10Storage location

Personal information is stored in Canada. We use service providers configured to store account data, request data, message data, marketplace records, and uploaded media in Canadian data centres where available.

Limited processing, access, support, security review, analytics, or administrative activity may occur outside Canada where required by a provider, a legal obligation, or an operational need. Information handled outside Canada may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

11Safeguards

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, modification, and destruction.

Safeguards may include access controls, authentication, limited permissions, encryption in transit, provider security controls, monitoring, logging, backups, and moderation processes.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and limiting what you share.

12Cookies and technical tools

We may use cookies, session tokens, local storage, and similar technologies for login, security, preferences, abuse prevention, analytics, performance, and platform operation.

Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may impair account access, security, and core platform functions.

13Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Retention periods depend on the nature of the information and the reason for retention.

We may retain information for account operation, marketplace history, dispute handling, safety, fraud prevention, moderation, legal compliance, tax records, accounting records, backups, enforcement, and business administration.

14Deletion

You may delete your account where the platform provides that function. You may also contact us to request deletion.

Following deletion, we remove or de-identify active profile information and associated uploaded media where reasonably practicable. We may retain information where required or permitted for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, moderation, backup, or enforcement purposes.

15Access and correction

You may request access to the personal information that we hold about you, and you may request correction of inaccurate information. We may require identity verification before responding.

We may refuse or limit a request where permitted by law. Examples include requests that would reveal another person's information, compromise security, disclose confidential commercial information, interfere with an investigation, or impose a disproportionate burden.

16Accuracy

You must keep your account, profile, service, request, and contact information accurate and current. We may correct, remove, or restrict information that appears inaccurate, outdated, unsafe, unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading.

17Children and minors

The platform is not intended for minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe that a minor has provided personal information, contact us and we will review the matter.

18Privacy incidents

If we become aware of a privacy or security incident, we will assess the incident and take steps that we consider appropriate. Where required by law, we will notify affected individuals, regulators, or other required parties.

19Complaints

You may contact us with privacy questions, requests, or complaints. We will review complaints in a reasonable manner. We may request additional information to verify identity and understand the issue.

20Changes

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time. The amended version will be posted on the platform with an updated effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended policy, subject to rights that cannot be waived by law.
